Villo’s explosion-proof isolation valve supports vertical installation

Explosion-proof isolation valve, as an explosion-proof equipment used to isolate the pressure and flame of dust explosion, has the advantages of simple structure and high cost performance.

At present, the installation method of the explosion-proof isolation valve is generally horizontal installation, and the minimum installation distance needs to be met, so the installation process requires a lot of space. When the space where the protected equipment is located is narrow and the pipeline runs in the vertical direction, the installation of the explosion-proof isolation valve will be greatly restricted, resulting in many application scenarios having to choose expensive chemical explosion-suppression devices or explosion-proof clamp pipes Valves and other explosion-proof equipment.

Based on the application requirements of the dust-related explosion process, Villo EnvSafe conducted a vertical installation explosion isolation performance test on the existing explosion-proof isolation valve. Tests show that the explosion-proof isolation valve produced by our company can be applied to the vertical installation process. The structure of the explosion-proof isolation valve locking flap can reliably and effectively isolate the pressure wave and flame generated by the explosion.

When no explosion-proof measures are taken for the pipeline, the explosion pressure wave not only blasts the vent of the container, but also propagates through the pipeline at an extremely fast speed.

After the explosion-proof isolation valve is installed vertically, the explosion pressure wave will explode the explosion vent of the container, and there is no flame on the side where the explosion-proof isolation valve is installed, indicating that the explosion-proof isolation valve installed vertically can be used in this test. Effectively block the spread of the explosion and protect the personnel and equipment in the workplace.
